Ferrari 250 GT/L Lusso GTO Berlinetta

NEW - 1963 Ferrari 250 GT/L Lusso GTO Berlinetta 1/43rd white metal kit by Piranha Models. Body, chassis and interiors are cast in heavy white metal. Chromed metal parts, machined/turned details, aluminum, photo-etch metal sheet, vacuum-formed parts, decals and instructions..! Click in the pictures for detailed view.

The GTO Lusso was specially built on the orders of Enzo Ferrari for friend and customer Felica Riva who originally wanted a 250 GTO or 330LM. Riva never took delivery of the Lusso hybrid built in 1963 after a private scandal and the car was sold on. It was finally restored to its original condition in 2005 after being painted metallic blue and recently appeared on the cover of Cavallino magazine.
